Boxing classes complement our other programs. Many members combine boxing with Muay Thai to develop complete striking skills, or add it to their BJJ training for a well-rounded martial arts foundation.
What to Expect in Class
Boxing classes at Diamondheart follow a structured format designed to build skills progressively:
- •Warm-up: Jump rope, shadowboxing, and movement drills to get loose
- •Technique instruction: Detailed breakdown of punches, combinations, and defense
- •Pad work: Practice combinations on focus mitts with partners or coaches
- •Bag work: Solo training on heavy bags to develop power and timing
- •Conditioning: Boxing-specific exercises that build fight-ready fitness
- •Sparring (optional): Controlled technical sparring for those cleared by coaches
Sparring is always optional and requires coach approval. Our program is designed to develop your skills whether or not you ever want to get in the ring.
